How to Buy

The Shopping Cart is an easy and secure way to buy online. We accept Mastercard, Visa, Maestro and Solo. Alternatively, you can telephone or mail your order.

When you have completed your purchase you will receive an automatic email confirmation of your order. When your order is shipped we will email you so that you know it is on it's way.

All orders are sent in plain packaging with no indication of the contents or the sender.

How the shopping cart works
When you click on a thumbnail image on one of the product pages you will see a bigger picture with a product description and a selection box with product options, product codes and prices. Use this box to make your choice (eg. necklace length or type of clasp).

When you press this button you will see the item(s) in your cart together with the price and shipping costs. You can delete items or change quantities at will. Then, either continue to the payment section or press...

to return. The items stay in your cart.

At any time you can use this link which is on every product page to review the contents of your cart. When you are happy with the cart continue to the payment section to enter your details.

Security
When you add items to the cart you will notice that the web pages look different to The Pearl Market web pages.This is because you are now on a 'Secure Server'. As the name implies, a secure server is one that uses various techniques and encryption methods to make sure your personal and card details are protected. So you can shop with confidence.

Think of it in the same way as taking a basket around a shop.This button puts items in the basket...

You haven't bought them yet and you can put them back on the shelf if you change your mind or make a mistake.

If you disconnect from the internet with items in your cart it doesn't matter. That's like leaving your basket on the floor of the shop and walking out.

Even in the payment section (at the till) you can cancel and leave the shop.

You really have to try hard to buy something you didn't mean to !

• The cardholder's full name and address
• Maestro or Solo cards, issue number or start date

Fill in the details and send it with your payment or card details. Please make sure you fill in your email address correctly so we can confirm receipt of your order and shipment.

Delivery
Products are made to order, quality checked, and despatched within 7 days (normally within 2 to 3 days). If for any reason we cannot ship within 7 days we will notify you and give you the option to cancel the order.

UK Deliveries
Are sent by recorded post (1-3 days from despatch) or
by special delivery (next day from despatch).

Europe and Other Destinations
Are sent by Airsure or International Signed For. These are expedited, insured, airmail services. European deliveries normally arrive within seven working days from despatch.

Shipping Costs

For UK deliveries we add £3.50 to your order value for postage and packing. You will see this automatically added on the shopping cart form.

For overseas deliveries we add £7.50 to your order value for expedited airmail delivery and insurance.

Please note:
International customers will not see the higher delivery charge on the shopping cart form but your credit card will be debited an extra £4.

Guarantee
If, due to faulty workmanship, something goes wrong with your purchase within six months of delivery, we will repair or replace it free of charge. We will always try to be fair to our customers and may, at our discretion, extend the guarantee period if circumstances warrant.

Credit and Debit Cards

We accept Mastercard, Visa, Maestro and Solo.

We only debit cards when the order is ready to ship. Cards are debited in UK Pounds Sterling (£). Your card provider will convert the charge to your local currency according to their standard terms.Please do not send card details over the Internet (except for secure shopping cart transactions).

Returns
We will give a refund, exchange or replacement providing the goods are returned to us within 30 days of receipt. Customers are responsible for returning item(s) in their original condition and for return postage costs and insurance. We will confirm to you by email that returned goods have been received.

This only applies to standard products offered for sale on our web site. For orders made to customer specification (eg. a non-standard necklace length) refunds or exchanges will be at our sole discretion and may incur a restocking fee.
